How to Get Your Article on the First Page of Google

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

The first page of Google, fancy ha? Wouldn`t you love to have each article you publish on your site to be ranked within the first page of Google? Of course you do, which is what this article is all about.
This method will show you how to get each and every article you write to be ranked with Google. This method will easily feature your article using your chosen target keyword on the first page of Google.
It is true article marketing is dead due to Google`s new algorithm, but this neat trick will turn the tables around!

Steps

  1. Choose one keyword to target eg. “”. You want to target one specific great keyword to begin with. It can be anything as long as it is related to your chosen niche. The more specific the better, that way you`ll be able to target targeted buyers. For example, I am in the niche, I have a Diet pill product that I intend to sell and naturally my target keyword would be “DIET”.
  2. Go to Google Keywords tool and search your Targeted Keyword. With Google Keywords Tool, you`ll be able to see how much competition your keyword has. The less the better, but you need at least a mere amount of competition to know that there is something there to compete with! If you are comfortable with the amount of traffic your chosen keyword receives, then go for it. If not, then I strongly recommend you change it, you can take some ideas from the `relative keywords` that appear along. Don`t go over 4,000,000 in competition, instead if you are just starting out then look for keywords with competition less than 2,000,000. That way you`d see your article in the first page in no time.
  3. Choose 10 Relative Keywords. Take a look at the keywords in the search results; you need to take note of the first 10 keywords in that search. Choose only the ones relative. Don`t go overboard. Better yet, choose the keywords that are most relative and strongly related to your targeted keyword and ones that you can put together in writing.
  4. Include all Keywords in an Article. Take a look at your targeted keyword as well as your chosen 10 keywords. Head over to ezinearticles.com and choose one very relative article that relates to your niche or product. Extract the ideas from it. Head back to your keywords and write a brand new article with all, not all of course but most of the keywords you have. You have to make sense otherwise the article won`t be as valuable as it ought to be to succeed with attracting traffic.
  5. Publish the Article on your website/blog.
  6. Get Your Article Indexed. Submit it to Social Monkee and SocialAdr to get it indexed fast. For this, all you need to do is type in a title, a description and a list of keywords (here you can simple copy-paste the keywords you want to target [targeted keyword + chosen 10 keywords]).
  7. Check if Article is Indexed. After a few hours, check if your site has been indexed or not , this is very important, you want the search engines to detect that the article originally is published is on your site. That way when you distribute your article to other sites, Google will know that these article directories are simply backlinks linking to YOUR site. The more the better.
  8. Submit your article to several Article Directories. The directories will publish them, no worries for duplicate problems because after all you are the official owner of the article and the search engines know that. Submit your article to teh following directories, they come highly ranked in the search engines, EzineArticles, GoArticles, ArticleBase and SooperArticles.
  9. Rinse and Repeat. Once you submit your article to a few sites, Google will consider these direct links as backlinks to your site. Eventually, day after day and you will notice a massive transition with your sites` ranking and receive a ton of traffic. Rinse and repeat for every article you publish and expect your ranking to change.

Tips

  • Don`t choose keywords with a ton of competition.
  • Do not overdue with keyword clutter in your article.
  • One more thing, make sure you get your articles indexed, in other words bookmarked for the search engines.
  • Apply this method for each and every article you have on your website for great results.

Warnings

  • Do NOT publish your article in the Article Directories for fast results, otherwise the method won’t work!

How to Achieve Online Marketing Success During the Holidays

How to Achieve Online Marketing Success During the Holidays

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Happy holidays! As we celebrate the holidays, I want to wish each of you the largest ROI with your web marketing campaigns.
Here are a five key web practices to keep in mind:

Steps

  1. Know the season: Offer an updated look to your web site (even if temporary). Show that you have the holiday spirit.
  2. Know your customers: Put your customer information to good use. Make sure that your site offers up a dynamic list of products and services that can help your customer locate that special gift for Aunt Susie.
  3. Make the sale easy: Holiday shopping can be a pain so make sure that there are special holiday landing pages developed to make it easier for customers to locate the most popular holiday items. Use last year’s data as a point of reference, but be sure to also know the hottest trends and products.
  4. Make it a steal: Like you, your customers love a great deal. Make sure that there are banners and other highlighted information about new products and savings that might be of interest to that customer. These items should be visible until the sale is completed.
  5. Follow up: Offer the customer a reason to return to your web site. Give them the option to sign up for updates on sales, and new products and services. This will enable you to build and maintain a long term relationship with the customer. Be sure to send the customer a thank you (whether by mail or email) and include a special gift or offer to show just how grateful you really are.
  6. Use these tips throughout the year and design your web site to keep your online customers and website visitors happy.

Warnings

  • Don’t overdo it – don’t nag your site visitors with the same calls-to-action repeatedly
  • Don’t collect too much information – when collecting visitor information, make forms short.
  • Don’t make the sale too easy – customers like to think they are special. Make all offers have limits. For example, for a limited time only…
  • Made it a steal but not highway robbery – people do believe they get what they pay for so don’t under-price your product/service.
  • Don’t spam – stay in touch with your consumers but don’t overwhelm them with unwanted, uninteresting emails.

Things You’ll Need

  • A creative webmaster with a history of delivering results that matter.

How to Market Your Toy or Game

December 17th, 2011 by free6984 in Uncategorized

How to Market Your Toy or Game

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

While toys and games are fun for all ages, the toy business is anything but child’s play. If you have a game or toy and you’re seeking to bring it to market, the task can seem daunting. Questions about manufacturing, distribution, shipping, packaging and marketing might seem overwhelming at first. In this article though, you’ll learn that the trick is to tackle these things one at a time to ensure effective entry into the toy market.

Steps

  1. Make a prototype. This process will probably take several steps and revisions, so don’t invest too much money in your first mock up. Test thoroughly and make revisions to the rules or physical make up of the product before committing to something expensive like a molded prototype.
  2. Get a patent. The process is simple and inexpensive. The toy business is as brutal as any other and a good concept will get co-opted by other companies quickly if the legal avenue to doing so has not been closed.
  3. Go to a toy trade show. Don’t rent a booth yet, it’s far too early for that. Still, it’s worth the entry fee to go to one of these shows and see how they work. The International Toy Fair in NYC is the world’s largest, but there are a number of regional toy and game trade shows as well. Spending a day at one of these events will allow you to research products similar to yours, network with manufacturers, and meet and greet with influential toy buyers.
  4. Ask yourself how involved you want to be. If you have a concept heavy product (namely, a toy that uses new technology or takes an existing toy in a radically new direction), it might be possible to market the patent directly to an existing toy company. Usually, this is not the case. Launching a new toy entails a huge financial investment and few large toy companies will invest in a patent for a toy or game that hasn’t yet established a sales record.
  5. Consider your market. Is this a toy that will appeal to infants, adolescents, or teens? Is it a game that can be marketed to adults as well as children? Will it appeal to people of a particular background or from a particular area more than others? Will it be expensive or inexpensive? Is it a one time purchase or a collectible? Answering these questions early will make the rest of the process much easier.
  6. Design your packaging. If you’re starting out from scratch, odds are good that you’ll have to compromise and use the simplest packaging that will be effective. Ask yourself the basic questions first:
    • What type of packaging do you need?
    • Can your toy be sold loose in a countertop display or does it need to come in a box?
    • Should the product be covered with a photo on the front or should there be an acetate window so that the consumer can see it?
    • If you don’t have artistic skill, it might be best to find a friend that can help you with logos, etc. Professional graphic designers are expensive and at this stage they will not help you much. It is only once your toy or game establishes a record of sales that you’ll need to bring in the big boys.
  7. Consider how you’ll go about manufacturing the toy. The questions about manufacture will vary greatly depending on what type of toy or game you’ve created. Card game and board game designers can use custom services that specialize in creating inexpensive, high quality freelance games. If your toy is plastic or athletic in nature, you’ll most likely have to turn to an overseas manufacturer to produce it at a price that will allow you to stay competitive.
  8. Develop an action plan. Remember, you won’t be trying to sell this toy to kids. You’ll be trying to sell it to toy stores and retail outlets and to do so, you will have to convince them that your product will move.
    • How will your toy be sold?
    • Does it expand on a familiar line of toys or is it a new concept?
    • If it’s new, will people know what it is right away or will it have to be demonstrated?
  9. Start locally. It won’t do you much good to bring your prototype into the local Toys R Us or chain outlet since nobody at the location would have the authority to put it on the shelves. Instead, start with locally owned and independent retailers. Smaller stores are always looking for the latest products so that they can offer their customers something the larger stores can’t. Developing a good relationship with local toy store owners will do more than get your product on the shelf; they can radically influence their customer’s purchasing decisions with a quick recommendation. If your toy sales are successful, local word-of-mouth becomes invaluable.
  10. Be creative and think laterally when looking for retail locations. Just because your product is a toy doesn’t mean you’re limited to toy stores. If the toy encourages activity, it might do well in a sporting goods outlet or a nature-themed store. If it ties into skateboarding, you might find success in skate shops. Don’t be afraid to try a store that might not make sense for your product. Remember, the store owner knows their customer better than you and might feel like your toy is a perfect fit even if you do not.
  11. Think about ancillary products. Is your toy a one hit wonder or can it be expanded into a line of toys? Can your toy have accessories? Can it be made into a collectible? Are there similar products that could sell alongside it? Maximizing each sale is the fastest way to long-term success.
  12. Don’t give up! Don’t be discouraged by early failures. This is all part of the learning process. If you strike out on a sale, ask yourself what you could have done better, adjust your pitch and keep trying.

Tips

  • Ask yourself what makes your toy or game different from similar items on the market and use this difference when pitching your product.
  • Be proactive. Get online, join forums, and read blogs from players in the toy industry. This will help you learn the industry lingo and network with potentially important contacts.
  • Play with it as often as possible. The business end is tough so be sure to take time to play your game and remind yourself why you wanted to do this in the first place.

Warnings

  • If you can do it yourself, do it yourself. There are a number of unscrupulous predators out there that will offer you PR services, distribution and financial planning, but odds are good that you won’t need these services until you have established a market. Carefully weigh any solicitations for help and never pay somebody to do something until you’ve tried to do it yourself first.

Things You’ll Need

  • Prototype
  • Patent
  • Sales pitch

Build-Your-Personal-Brand”>How to Build Your Personal Brand

How to Build Your Personal Brand

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

A ‘personal brand’ is in many ways synonymous with your reputation. It refers to the way other people see you. Are you a genius? An expert? Are you trustworthy? What do you represent? What do you stand for? What ideas and notions pop up as soon as someone hears your name?
If you’ve been around for a while you’ve probably already developed a personal brand. People recognize your name, what you’re working on, what you offer and what you’re about. That being said, your personal brand might be a little weak and disjointed. If you’d like to make it stronger, this article will help give you the tools by outlining the components of a strong personal brand. If you don’t feel like you have a personal brand yet, this wikiHow will show you how to go about building one.

Steps

  1. Look at your personal brand as an investment. Your personal brand has the potential to last longer than your own lifespan. While the projects you’re working on might get sold onwards or shut down, your personal brand will persist and (hopefully) add value to each new project you create. If you consider yourself to be in this particular game for the long-haul, whether it’s an online business, art, or selling cars, a good personal brand is an invaluable investment. People will follow your brand from project to project if they feel connected to it. When launching new projects, your personal brand has the potential to guarantee you never have to start from scratch again.
  2. Set goals for your public image. Because your personal brand is built from the thoughts and words and reactions of other people, it’s shaped by how you present yourself publicly. This is something that you have control over. You can decide how you would like people to see you and then work on publicly being that image. Consider your goals for the brand. If you want to sell an expensive course in watercolor painting you’ll need to be seen as someone with the authority to teach others on the topic. If you want to get work for high-end design clients you’ll need to be seen as a runaway talent with a professional attitude. Two useful springboard questions are:
    • How would you like potential customers/clients to think of you?
    • How can you publicly ‘be’ that brand? This question is an important one, but a tricky one. Your personal brand is composed of your public actions and output in three main areas:
    • What you’re ‘about’. Think about the key ideas you would want people to associate with you. Seth Godin is about telling stories, being remarkable. Leo Babauta is about simplicity and habit forming. Jonathan Fields is about finding ways to build a career out of what you love doing.
    • Expertise. Every good brand involves the notion of expertise. Nike brands itself as an expert in creating quality and fashionable sportswear. Jeremy Clarkson (host of Top Gear) is an expert on cars. Even if you’re not interested in marketing your advice, you need to create the perception that you are very good at what you do.
    • Your style. This is not so much what you communicate about yourself, but rather, how you do it. Are you kind and unusually enthusiastic, like Collis Taeed? Are you witty and raw, like Naomi Dunford? Are you confident and crusading, like Michael Arrington? Hopefully you’re none of these, or at least, not in the same way. Your style of delivery should be as unique as any other aspect of your personal brand. This doesn’t mean you need to sit down and brainstorm how to be different. If you don’t actively imitate anyone else, it will happen naturally. Read widely and write a lot. If there’s one writer you love and read all the time, you’re probably going to ape them a little bit unless you catch yourself. We all do it.
  3. Run a blog or website that is all you. It doesn’t matter if it’s not your first priority, or even your second priority, but it gives people a place to develop a stronger connection with you. (You might already be doing this!) Here are some content guidelines:
    1. Include a mini-bio at the end of each post, put time and effort into your About page and use it to paint a picture of your ideal personal brand. People will only remember a few things about you, so focus on telling the story that contributes most to your brand. Use your personal story as the basis for your expertise.
  4. Try to be personally ubiquitous without over-stretching or over-exposing yourself. If people hear your name enough they will check you out (maybe not the first, second or third time, but they will). Participate in social media.
    1. Help your projects become ubiquitous by writing viral content and guest-writing.
  5. Keep your brand fresh. No matter how good your content is, you’ll risk seeming stale and repetitive if you don’t continue adding new elements to your brand. You can’t ride one idea forever. Keep adding new layers to what you represent.
  6. Continue learning and updating your knowledge, especially if your expertise is based around the online world. The web changes drastically from month to month. If you were an ‘expert’ two years ago but have since stopped learning and challenging yourself, you’re not an expert anymore.
  7. Don’t just agree with other people you admire. In doing so, you’re building their personal brand, not yours. Focus on topics where you have something new to say or some more value to add.
  8. Get people talking. Think about your personal brand each time you interact with someone – or don’t interact with someone. What impression are you leaving them with? If you don’t want to spend time responding to tweets and emails there’s no reason why you can’t make this part of your personal brand so that people do not expect differently. If you only have the time to answer 1/4 of the emails you get, why not mention this (with apologies) on your Contact page? The greatest source of negative feeling in these situations is disappointment. If you make it clear that you intend to behave in a certain way people have little right to be disappointed when you do so.
    1. Try to build relationships with as many people as possible. See How to Network. Get to know their real names and remember details about them. Not only is this fun and good karma, it leaves a strong impression on the people who interact with you. The ones who you know best and who feel most connected to you will talk about you to others – this is how your personal brand grows stronger.
    2. Build name recognition with influencers. In this instance an influencer is any person with an audience that you want to reach. Comment on their writing, keep track of them on social media, help them when they ask for it, if they have a blog try to guest-post (it must be your best stuff!). Not only do you have plenty to learn from people like this, but they are also the people who can give you that killer testimonial when you launch your product, who can tweet your links to thousands of followers, who can share the best opportunities with you. That being said, don’t pester them and don’t ask for more favors than you give them. If you are useful and not overbearing these influencers will remember you. View this as a long-term process. You can’t expect to become friends with influencers in a week. It takes months. (Tip: try to use non-intrusive forms of communication. Don’t write things that require a response in blog comments; that’s what email/Twitter is for.)

Video

Frank Gruber, creator of Somewhat Frank talks about building his personal brand, and using it in his role working for AOL.

Tips

  • You don’t need to be big to be big. There are a number of so-called ‘A-list’ bloggers and web personalities who have quite weak personal brands (relative to the size of their audience) based on the way they behave and interact with people outside their blog content (arrogantly) and how clearly they communicate what they represent (mainly just ‘making money off people like you’). There are also some people who do not have a huge audience for their projects but have managed to create a personal brand that is ‘bigger’ than what they have built. This is an excellent platform for them to grow their projects into something bigger and better.

Warnings

  • A strong personal brand is not going to provide much benefit unless you have valuable output to pair it with – a great service, a great blog, a great app, great public speaking skills, or something else. You need to spend as much time creating your ’stuff’ (whether that’s blog posts, videos or artwork) as you do building relationships.
  • Never be hypocritical. Avoid doing things that go against your brand or what you advocate. Don’t publicize failure in your area of expertise. Failing in new areas is OK, because you’re not trying to be an expert in those. That’s the difference between when you should and should not talk about your failures. The exception to this rule is when your failures become public despite your best efforts. If this happens, confront the issue and explain it – don’t avoid it, or you’ll seem deceitful. You’d rather people learn about your failure from you than someone with no sympathy.

How to Write an Article for Article Marketing

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Article Marketing is a great and well-regarded way to bring more traffic to your website if it is used successfully. To find out how you can write an article for article marketing purposes carry on reading!

Steps

  1. Decide on its topic. The best articles are written about something that the author has a genuine interest about and knows lots of interesting information on.
  2. Do research on your chosen topic and plan what you are going to say. You may want to make notes at this point too.
  3. Do keyword research. This is essential to gaining more visitors. There are many free keyword suggestion tools such as ‘Google AdWords’. These keyword suggestion tools offer a range of phrases that you could include in your article that people are searching for. Depending on which keyword suggestion tool you use, searches for the phrase you type in will often be shown ‘daily’ or ‘monthly’. The better keywords you use the higher the ‘Google Rank’ is likely to be, so the more visitors you are likely to get.
  4. Don’t over-fill your article with keywords. Your article should still read naturally. Too many keywords crammed in an article can sometimes limit the traffic to your site.
  5. Start your article with a point you would like to make. It should be something that grabs your reader’s attention, like a question. In the introduction you should also tell your readers what they will find out from reading your article and how they will benefit.
    • The following paragraphs could each start with a point you are making. The next few sentences could be providing more information about the point and going into more detail.
  6. Keep in mind what you are writing about. Make sure you don’t go off on a tangent.
  7. Tie up loose ends. The last couple of paragraphs should tie up any loose ends and conclude what you have been saying. It may also be helpful if you just over your main point again.
  8. Include the link to your site. At the bottom of the article include your link to your site. This is how you’ll get more traffic. A lot of article directories will have a separate box for this link.
  9. Proof-read and spell-check your article. Nobody likes to read an article that doesn’t make sense and has loads of mistakes in.
  10. One you are happy with your article, find an article directory that you can submit your article to. You will most likely need to create an account at the article directory.
  11. Submit your article. Most article directories will need to approve your article and check it meets there guidelines, so make sure you have read their guidelines and conditions.

Tips

  • If you make your article about an interesting topic, you are more likely to get more views, and therefore more URL clicks and visitors to your website.

Warnings

  • If you decide to submit your article to more than one article directory be sure to rewrite it before resubmitting. If it is exactly the same Google will mark it as ‘duplicate content’ and you won’t get more traffic. You may also get banned from some article directories for breaching their terms and conditions on duplicate content.
  • The article should also be in your own words unless you have permission to publish someone else’s work.

How to Use Key Words for Article Marketing

How to Use Key Words for Article Marketing

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Article Marketing is a successful method of generating more traffic to your site, used by many people. But do you know how to use keywords in your articles? A good use of keywords can get your article even higher in the search engines and potentially get you more traffic. Read on to find out how to do this effectively.

Steps

  1. Decide on a definite topic for your article, this will make it easier to find keywords to include in your article. Keywords are the words that people search for in the search engines to find the information they require. If you have the exact wording or phrase that is searched for, in your article, then it is likely to have a good ranking in the search engines for that specific search, and potentially get you more traffic.
  2. Use a keyword suggestion tool to generate keywords to include in your article. Google provides a free service called ‘Google Adwords’, which provides you with a list of keywords, based on a word or phrase that you type into the text box on the page. The Google Adwords tool gives you a list of commonly searched words and phrases, associated to the topic you entered, and tells you the ‘Global Monthly Searches’ of the phrase.
  3. Make a list of the words and phrases that you want to include in your article. Ideally you should have this list next to you when you are writing your article.
  4. Decide on a suitable title for your article that has at least one keyword in it. It is best to start the title with a keyword and not words such as ‘A’ or ‘The’.
  5. Whilst writing your article on your chosen topic you need to include the keywords in the text. These keywords should be included naturally and the article should read smoothly. One keyword for every paragraph is likely to be enough. Don’t over use keywords (keyword stuffing) – Google will notice and your website is unlikely to benefit and may even be banned.
  6. Re-read your article. Check that it reads naturally and doesn’t sound as if loads of keywords are ‘stuffed in’. Also check your punctuation and grammar. Your article is now ready to be published on your website or submitted to an article directory.

Tips

  • If you are submitting your article to an article directory, remember to put a link to your website in the author’s resource box.

Warnings

  • If you over use keywords Google may ban your website from the Google search engines.

How to Advertise Your Web Design Business with Article Marketing

December 17th, 2011 by free6984 in Uncategorized

How to Advertise Your Web Design Business with Article Marketing

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Many different kinds of businesses in all sorts of industries can benefit from doing what’s called article marketing, where crafting good content and getting it to the public eye is critical for giving visibility to a company, product or service offer. When it’s time to advertise your Web design business with article marketing, a few good guidelines will be handy for making sure that the strategy matches the goal. Business leaders who take the time to promote their companies the right way often reap the benefits later in terms of both new and returning customers, and a stable foundation on which to expand the business.

Steps

  1. Figure out marketing goals. Part of the initial step of an article marketing campaign is to figure out what kind of content relates best to the business.

    • Figure out technical angles, etc. For a Web design business, the articles that go online or in other public venues should have the right mix of information about the specific industry. This includes content on the right way to code, what good Web design can do for a customer, and all of what is available for a good-looking, modern website.
  2. Build content. The content creation step is very important, and it’s one of the first things that the company will do when they have established their goals and figured out what they need.
    • Put together a team of writers. Many businesses choose to use a variety of independent freelancers with 1099 contracts. This usually allows the business to order articles on a piece work basis and write off the payments as business expenses. Under these agreements, the freelancers are often responsible to pay their own taxes on the lump payment that they receive from your project.
  3. Set up quality testing. With the content coming in, someone in the business leadership team will want to establish a process for making sure they have the best quality, as well as the quantity. They want for article marketing and link building.
    • Look for typos and grammar errors. It’s important to watch out for a few common shortcomings in what comes back from the content team. In some cases, the content is riddled with text that doesn’t sound right, lacks vernacular, and often has severe spelling and grammar problems. With even the best text, someone has to serve as a quality assurance person to ensure that the copy is right before it goes out on the web.
    • Check for tone and substance. The quality assurance team will also want to check to make sure that the articles sound right and appeal to their target audience in the right way.
  4. Find venues. When the quality content is in hand, it’s time to select the right places to put these marketing articles. There are such a wide variety of sites and venues available that it makes sense to put together a committee to find the best places where marketing articles will reach their intended audience.
  5. Implement article marketing. In one of the final steps, the leadership will delegate the work of actually putting article marketing online in the places that they have identified as the most fruitful for their business.
    • Use links. Along with basic text article marketing, many businesses are creating interactive links that support readers in a journey toward the greater business website. There are a number of ways to do this, and an inspired leadership team can come up with the most effective choices.
    • Do online networking. Often, the venues and forums where article marketing takes place also have features that allow readers to comment. Populating these common sectors can give article marketing more heft and add value to this online marketing strategy.

By the way, I call it organic marketing and not SEO because SEO applies to all search engine optimization techniques used to raise your ranking position, whereas organic marketing focuses only on the methods with self duplicating growth built in.
The following is just a brief overview to introduce the methods to you. We will analyze them and put them into a sequential step-by-step system further on in the report.
Article Writing
This is where I begin. Why? Because writing is in my comfort zone. And truthfully, it will be probably yours too, because you need content for your site and it is a logical place to start.
Blog Posting
Not much to add here as this post is simply your original article you created posted on your site. The key thing here is to post it on your site BEFORE you submit it elsewhere so that YOU get the credit for the original content before some other site does. More on that later.
Article Marketing
Article marketing is broken down into two types – manual and automated. Manual article submission is just that. You create accounts at article directories and then submit your content for inclusion into their directory. Time consuming but well worth the backlinks you get. Automated services, like the Unique Article Wizard, multiply your efforts by helping you create unique versions of your content and then distributing it to large networks of sites for posting. This dramatically increases the backlinks you receive with very little additional work.
Press Releases
Is the subject of your article newsworthy? Does it announce a breakthrough or a discovery? Does it discuss current events that are in the news? Are you talking about a newly formed business partnership or a buyout? Then it may be of interest to the newswires such as PRWeb and PRNewsWire. Learn what a news release consists of and see if your article applies. If it does, Press Releases can be a very high value addition to your marketing arsenal.
Video Creation and Distribution
Once you have an article written, you literally have a fresh new video script created. So take your article and create a Powerpoint presentation and record it in Camtasia. Or if you are more old school, talk about the content of your article on camera and use a whiteboard. Or just shoot a straight up video. It doesn’t matter as long as you are passionate about your topic. The passion will come through in your presentation. As with article marketing, there are automated services, like TrafficGeyser, that will not only save you time on distribution, but also post your content to more places than you would bother to do manually.

Podcast Creation and Distribution
Podcasts are downloadable or streaming audio feeds you can take or create from your content – usually after you have shot your video. Services like TrafficGeyser are also great for distributing your podcasts.
How Do We Put These Methods to Work in a Structured System?
What we are looking to do, as the name suggests, is build a foundational structure for our organic marketing efforts. There is more than one way to do this, but the core methods remain the same.
Just today, in fact, while I was working with one of our business partners, he described that his starting point is almost completely opposite of mine. And that’s because he likes to speak first (video) and then create written content whereas I like to write my content first and then create the media. I am a writer by nature, and a professional speaker/trainer by trade. But you would never catch me going out to do a one hour seminar without four or more hours of writing and script tweaking to back it up.
Likewise, my associate who is a professional speaker first, would never think of writing a report or article set without first having done a speech from bullet points in front of an audience. Therefore we are both right.
Is one method better than the other? Absolutely – for YOU!
Use the method that makes YOU feel comfortable. If you like to jot down a few bullet points and then create a half hour video from those you can then transcribe into an article, so be it. But if you, like me, need to prepare and edit a fully completed article to then turn into other media, then that works too.
Remember – It is YOUR business!
But since this is my report I get to tell you my way – author’s preference :-)

The strategies that I’m going to layout for you will allow you to use Article Marketing to Dominate Your Niche and will only require you to purchase “1″ piece of software. This software is used by Elite Article Marketers and will allow you to compete with them when it comes to marketing your business opportunity. You can get a 90 Day Money Back Guarantee, but once you start using this software, you will not want to be without this valuable marketing resource.

Article Marketing Strategy Step 1: Get a Blog – If you don’t have your own blog I highly recommend that you starting your own WordPress Blog. Search engines like blogs because there is new content constantly being added and this will help you get higher search engine rankings. Your blog is going to be the central point for all your marketing efforts. When you write a new article you’re going to post it on your blog first and then make some minor changes and submit it to the article directories and link back to article on your blog. This will give you back-links from the article directories and also help your blog and the article get higher search engine rankings. Over time this will generate free traffic to your website.

Article Marketing Strategy Step 2: Ad Content to Your Blog – Now that you have your blog set up it’s now time to create the content articles to add to your blog. If you don’t have any ideas of what to write about, here are a few suggestions:

1. Interview a leader in your Network Marketing Company and post the interview
2. Write three to five success tips about how to be successful with you business opportunity
3. Write about new network marketing companies (you can do a search for NPROS and subscribe to their News Updates via email and get emailed about new network marketing companies and do a review of these new companies. Reviews of new companies get a lot of attention. My recommendation is to be positive and be honest in your review.
4. Write about leaders in other network marketing companies.
5. Write about Systems used by other network marketing companies.

You want to be focused in your articles and do not try to get ranked for too many keywords. An example would be this article that is focused on “Article Marketing Strategies to Dominate Your Niche”

Article Marketing Strategy Step 3: Submit Your Content to Article Directories – The software that I spoke about earlier is called Automatic Article Submitter and it is an awesome piece of software that allows you to automatically create and confirm your accounts to 100s of article directories; allows you to spin your article with a dictionary of 20K+ related words; conduct keyword analysis, and much more. If you were to do all of this yourself it would take you days or weeks just to set up your accounts with the article directories and you would still have to do all the other work that you can do with the push of a button with Automatic Article Submitter. Your article summary and author resource box will probably be the hardest things that you have to do inside the software and they are very easy to do if you have submitted an article to EzineArticles or one of the other article directories.

Article Marketing Strategy Step 4: Link to Your Blog from Article Directories – In your resource box inside your article in Automatic Article Submitter you have two chances to link back to your blog or another website or video you may make about your article. You do this by using anchor text which is the clickable text that takes you to a website or a YouTube video that you already have posted. This serves two purposes, one it gives you a link back to your blog from the article directory that it’s posted in and it gives you a link to a YouTube video (again this is only if you have a YouTube video that you made about the topic of your article, this is the link you want to encourage prospects to click on because it should have content that is different from the article and not the link going back to the article on your blog your blog). Once you have everything as you want it, now it’s time to create variations within your article using the submission software. You can create variations in your title, words, and whole sentences throughout your article. Once you have all the variations within your article, you are ready to submit it to the article directories. Make sure you become very familiar with the software so that you get the best use out of it.

Article Marketing Strategy Step 5: Commit to Writing an Article a Day for 90 Days – To get the benefits from article marketing that you desire, you need to commit to submitting one article a day for the next 90 days. Use these Article Marketing Strategies to Dominate your Niche or any niche that you want to dominate, and you will always be able to generate leads to your network marketing opportunity.

Article Marketing – How to Use Article Marketing to Flood Your Website With Traffic and Profits

December 10th, 2011 by free6984 in Uncategorized
Expert Author Jeremy A Gislason

Article marketing has made quite a name for itself within the last few years as word has spread about its effectiveness at generating traffic. It used to be a little-known secret amongst Internet marketing gurus; but the word is out, and anybody can make use of this type of promotion to get massive traffic to their website.

There are many different strategies used when it comes to article marketing, and indeed, it can lead to some quite intense discussions about how it should be used.

Even the top Internet marketers use article marketing in different ways, which leads us to assume that there is in fact no strategy that is set in stone that leads to results, but rather different methods that can be implemented.

The Rise Of Bum Marketing

When bum marketing first arrived on the scene, it promoted writing as many articles as possible and sending them out in bulk quantity. Nobody can argue that many people cashed in using bum marketing, and that the results are there as long as the heavy workload of producing mass articles can be continued on a daily basis.

The wonderful thing that did come about from this marketing promotion was it supplied hope to many marketers that were frustrated and did not know which way to turn next to earn a solid income on the Internet.

Once people started seeing results, hope was renewed in many. Article marketing became known and well respected as a valuable way of getting traffic and consistent income.

At this time, the secrets about article marketing became better known as marketers looked for ways to increase traffic without having to write in bulk. There had to be an easier, less time consuming way to get tons of traffic using article marketing. The search was on. Today, many Internet marketers are using this form of marketing in innovative ways to lessen the time writing and further increase their traffic level.

Article Marketing Strategies To Boost Your Traffic And Income

Article Marketing Strategy # 1: Focusing On Quality

There are many ways to get massive exposure to your website using articles as promotion. Some article marketers write one or two exceptional articles a day and then work on promoting the articles so that they will rise in the search engine rankings. This strategy works on quality more than quantity, and has proven itself a leader as well in getting traffic to a website.

Promotional techniques used on these quality articles include building up backlinks to the article so that it can appear on Google’s front page, and on the first page in other major search engines as well. Some Internet marketers will also use the article as basis for a Squidoo lens or a Hub page so that the information receives as much exposure as possible.

With exposure comes traffic. If an article can appear within the top three for its keyword, and remain there using back links, then it can become a reliable traffic generator for quite possibly years to come. Once it has risen to this level, it can be easy to maintain with more backlinking to be done to the article from time to time.

Article Marketing Strategy # 2: Balancing Between Quality And Quantity

Another strategy that can be used is a combination of quantity and quality. An interesting technique used by some marketers is to write a top-notch article that would be worthy of top ranking by the search engines, and then write less deserving articles that link back to the original quality article.

Lower quality articles can be mass-produced and outsourced to writers at a fairly low price, since they are being generated primarily for back links only. Of course, you do not want to send out garbage articles either, since your reputation is on the line; so make sure that the articles are good enough to still reflect positively on your business.

Article Marketing Strategy # 3: Submitting To Targeted Webmasters

Article marketing does not only have to apply to directory submissions, although the term usually brings this concept to mind. Smart marketers know that there are amazing amounts of traffic to be found on other websites that have made a mark in the niche they are promoting.

A well-designed article can be sent to a Webmaster of a popular website; and if they like it, it can be included on the website itself or sent out as part of a newsletter. Webmasters are often looking for new material, and will be quite grateful for the article as long as it is well presented and targeted to their clientele.

Final Words Of Advice

You can generate huge amounts of traffic to any website using articles as your means of promotion. Various methods work differently for each niche; and before settling on one method of article marketing, you should test the waters and see what kind of traffic you can generate using various techniques.

The idea with article marketing is to use it to create the most traffic you can to your website. There is no fixed strategy to implement. Whatever works, works. Start using these different methods and start seeing more visitors. Once you see significant amounts of traffic, you will know which technique works the best for your niche and you can then ramp it up. This is what the experts do, and it will always work.

Test, test, test your article marketing to get massive amounts of traffic to your site, and you will see profitable results in no time.
